Well, NYE my soldier and I booked a hotel downtown. We ate dinner at Razzoos downtown then went walking around. I had to show him around since it was his first time there. We had drinks in our room while playing cards then chilled out the rest of the night. It was fun...nothing too big but we had a good time. :)

So, how bout those HORNS???!!! *smiles big* WOOHOO Our boys brought home the Championship title! That was a really good game. I think the best part was that I sit right inbetween 2 people who are from California! hehe All I had to do was simply walk in flashing the Longhorns sign, and it was on. lol

Ingrid~ just wanted you to know that we went to Pete's Saturday night and had a blast!!!! Dana went for the first time and loved it!!! :) That place is just sooooo much fun, everytime we go!

This weekend Im visiting my soldier, first time Im going there instead of him coming here. Im kinda excited to see the new place. Its a long weekend for both of us and my boss is letting me off a couple of hours early on Friday since I have to drive there. So, Im pretty happy.

Sorry I am doing a horrible job of blogging. Im here and will post as often as I can. Hope yall are doing good!!!

Sick, but Trying To Plan New Years

Well, we got through Christmas but now Im sick! BLAH! I must have some kind of bug so I havent been doing anything. Laying down sleeping as much as possible. Im hoping this goes away quick, before New Years.

Speaking of...My soldier really wants to do something fun on New Year's Eve so we have been trying to decide on what we wanna do. Any good suggestions???? What are yall planning? As far as Im concerned, just us being together is great. What can I say, Im easy to please. :)

Merry Christmas!!!

Just wanted to wish everyone a very merry Christmas! I couldnt ask for anything more...I have my Soldier here with me!!!!!! :) We have had a wonderful Christmas this year.....shopping and opening our gifts from each other.

To all those who are overseas, or those families of soldiers overseas, thank you and I wish you a very special Merry Christmas! I know how it can be hard not being home with loved ones, but I pray that you all have a wonderful holiday season.

I wear no uniforms, no blues or army greens

Ramblings

Man, I have been so busy that I have pretty much neglected my blog...sorry guys! Ive been working long hours at work and then coming home to excercise, go Christmas shopping, wrap presents, and so on. Then its so awesome having my Soldier here every weekend, but we are on the go all weekend long!!! This weekend is no different! :) I have to work Sat morning so he and my mom are going to go shopping. (He has Mom helping him pick out my gifts! Probably a good thing!!! hehe) Then Sat evening is my Bankwide Christmas party at a local country club so we get to dress up. woohoo!

Well, Im gonna have a nephew! My brother and sis-in-law found out yesterday that its a boy. :) They are so happy! So now we just have to wait for ummmmm only about 4 1/2 more months. lol I cant wait! I love babies! All my family members are having boys so Im thinkin that means I will have a girl...whenever we finally get married and are ready for kiddos! I wanna have the first girl and everyone will spoil her rotten. lol Not that the sex will really matter, either way all these babies are going to be spoiled!

I suppose I have rambled on long enough. I need to get to bed now.

Its Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas...

Wow, it's been a wonderful last couple of weeks. Its been busy, but fun. I have been staying busy during the week with work....we have had meetings and so on. Then at night I have been trying to get my room cleaned at my parents house. That room has other people's stuff in it, then now all my stuff so Ive been trying to get it all situated. Its looking pretty good. :) My weekends.....well, fantastic! My soldier has been here with me the last 2 weekends so its been great. We are getting so much time together now so I couldnt ask for anything more. Weve been shopping, eating, watching movies, playing Army Monopoly, etc. Fun times.

Did I say weve been shopping??? Oh my goodness, weve done a lot of that! We are pretty much finished with everyone now. It has been lots of fun! This weekend we are going to wrap all the presents and I cant wait to see how that goes. hehe I love this time of year! Its just so much fun shopping for everyone!

Its cold here! We are in like the 30's here! Saturday it was 89 degrees and then Sunday it dropped to freezing cold. (Freezing cold for us here!)

Well, hope yall are doing well also. I must get back to work now.

Up and Running

Im up and running yall!!!! My wonderful co-worker has been here for a few hours working on it getting us all networked here at my parents house.....and Im back! YEHAW! :) Im so excited that I have my puter back! I can blog more, check mail, search the net...whatever I wanna do!

Sorry to my SIoS sisters...I havent been around for a few weeks but I should be back in the swing of things now. With it being busy during the holidays I believe we are going to post topics once every 2 weeks instead of every week.

Changes at work.....Change. HMMMM Does anyone look forward to change? lol They are changing everything, practically. I work at a bank and we are supposed to be getting a new machine, computer system, and so on. Many, many changes. Im dreading it, but at the same time looking forward to it. We will basically start over learning, but in the end it should be better, ya know? So, yeah, thats that. :)
